Hard Drive ShreddingPhysical shredding of a hard drive or other data sensitive media is the only way of guaranteeing 100% data destruction. Items are physically shredded into tiny particles that are then sorted and recycled. Both of these methods can be completed either on-site (client location) or off-site at one our partners secure facilities. Depending on client needs, we can also provide video feeds of the actual destruction as well as a door to door snapshot of the entire process for clients requiring a higher level of security. Certificates of Data Deletion/Destruction are provided if requested. |
DoD Wipe The Department of Defense has set the standard for data wipes. A DoD wipe consists of writing over the original deleted information 7 times before it is considered unrecoverable. This is the only form of data wiping that is considered in compliance with current regulations.
